About MortgageCalc.pro

Last updated: April 20, 2026

MortgageCalc.pro is a free online mortgage calculator and educational resource designed to help homebuyers make informed financial decisions. Our tools are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French — because understanding your mortgage should never be a language barrier.

Our Mission

Buying a home is one of the most significant financial decisions most people will ever make. Unfortunately, the mortgage process is often opaque, filled with confusing jargon, and designed in ways that favor lenders over borrowers.

Our mission is simple: give every homebuyer the tools and knowledge they need to understand their mortgage, compare options confidently, and avoid costly mistakes. Everything on this site is free, always.

What We Offer

  • Free Mortgage Calculator: Calculate your monthly payment, total interest, and full amortization schedule in seconds.
  • Mortgage Blog: Expert guides on affordability, loan comparison, PMI, interest rates, and more — updated regularly.
  • Multi-Language Support: All calculators and key guides are available in English, Spanish (Español), Portuguese (Português), and French (Français).
  • No Registration Required: Use every tool on this site without creating an account or providing personal information.

How Our Calculator Works

Our mortgage calculator uses the standard amortization formula used by banks, mortgage lenders, and financial institutions worldwide: M = P × [r(1+r)ⁿ] ÷ [(1+r)ⁿ−1], where P is the principal loan amount, r is the monthly interest rate, and n is the total number of monthly payments.

The calculator runs entirely in your browser — no data is sent to our servers. Your financial information stays private.

Editorial Standards

Our mortgage education articles are written by our editorial team and reviewed for accuracy before publication. We strive to present balanced, fact-based information. We do not accept payment to favor any lender or financial product in our editorial content.

While we work hard to ensure accuracy, mortgage rates, tax laws, and lending guidelines change frequently. Always verify current rates and requirements with a licensed mortgage professional before making any financial decisions.
